Job Description:
A company is looking for a Certificate Development Specialist
I-II to prepare and revise documents describing health plan
benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Prepares and revises certificates of coverage and schedules of
benefits
Responds to inquiries from the sales area regarding
certificates
Monitors and documents the progress of certificate review and
approval
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, English, Business Administration,
or related field preferred
1 year of experience in health insurance operations for Certificate
Development Specialist I; 2 years for II
Knowledge of health insurance benefits and legal terminology
Proficiency with MS Office and database management software
Understanding of state insurance laws for Certificate Development
Specialist II
