Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of high-quality ultrasound procedures under minimal supervision, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound imaging equipment.Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Document calibration procedures for individual imaging equipment.
• Coordinate and organize ultrasound procedures to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
• Assist the Radiologist in performing invasive biopsy procedures using the Ultrasound system.
• Ensure accurate charging and billing for ultrasound procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-year scanning experience in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, and Breast Ultrasound.
  • ARDMS or ARRT/Sonography certification in Abdomen required within one year.
  • LRST/ARRT Radiologic Technology License preferred.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification.Work Schedule and TypeFull-time position with a TBD work schedule.
