Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post Surgical PACU department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients from surgery to recovery.Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate patient teaching and ancillary nursing personnel
• Provide direct and indirect care to patientsRequirementsEducation/SkillsGraduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalentExperienceSix (6) months experience preferredLicenses, Registrations, or CertificationsCurrent license to practice professional nursing in the State of TexasAmerican Heart Association BLS - within two (2) weeks of employmentMedication Competence within two (2) weeks of employmentComputer Competence within four (4) weeks employmentArrhythmia Recognition Course - within twelve (12) weeks of employment if no current ACLS CertificationAHA ACLS Certification- within sixteen (16) weeks of employmentCritical Care classes and examinations within sixteen (16) weeks of employmentPhlebotomy/Point of Care Competency within four (4) weeks of employmentTNCC Course - within six (6) months of employmentENPC/PALS Certification - within six (6) months of employmentWork TypePart TimeWe are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
