What You'll Do:

- Lead with Safety First: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Mill while partnering with our Safety Manager to maintain top-tier safety standards.

- Drive Operations: Oversee day-to-day mill operations, including production, maintenance, and employee supervision. Collaborate with key leaders across departments like Purchasing, Maintenance, and Human Resources to ensure seamless operations.

- Optimize Performance: Track key metrics, including utilities, labor, and chemical costs. Lead machinery projects and minimize downtime for maximum productivity.

- Ensure Product Quality: Work with the manufacturing, purchasing, and sales teams to guarantee consistent product quality and on-time deliveries.

- Champion Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement, drive cost management strategies, and deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance mill operations.

- Develop and Lead: Inspire and manage teams to succeed, foster talent development, and implement succession planning strategies to ensure long-term growth.


Qualifications:

- Education: A B.S. degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Experience: Minimum 10 years in operations, with at least 5 years in paper mill management preferred.

- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing teams, optimizing performance, and delivering results.
