Maintenance Manager
Alexandria, Louisiana

As Maintenance Manager, you will supervise, control and coordinate the repair and maintenance of equipment within our client?s manufacturing facility. You will also champion the preventative maintenance program, purchase parts and supplies for the department and manage the daily activities of the department. This involves oversight of 30 employees (indirect), 3 supervisors and an electronics technician (directly). To qualify, you should possess a High School Diploma (a Bachelor?s degree would be a plus) and at least 15 years? relevant experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Your background should include 3 to 5 years of managing a team. Finally, you must be able to become hands on, when necessary. An expertise that enables you to tear down and rebuild tank-car equipment and guide others in troubleshooting is strongly preferred.
