Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Manipulation Engineer to
develop manipulation behaviors and grasp planning algorithms for
humanoid robots.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, test, and deploy manipulation behaviors and
grasp planning algorithms
Develop robust grasp strategies and behaviors considering
environmental uncertainty
Collaborate with autonomy teams to solve complex cross-functional
problems
Required Qualifications
Industry experience in developing manipulation algorithms for
high-DOF robots
Experience with perception and scene understanding related to
manipulation planning
Strong fundamentals in robotics, including kinematics and motion
planning
MS or Ph.D. in robotics, computer science, or related field, or
equivalent experience
Proficiency in modern C++ and Python programming languages
